Facilities

The SSC sports facilities rank among the best in the Netherlands and reflect the popularity and significance that the TU/e gives to university sports. Most sporting activities take place at the own SSC accommodation at the campus. For some sports we hire facilities outside the campus, like the ‘IJssportcentrum Eindhoven’ and ‘Manege Sonniushof’.

Indoor Facilities

Sports Halls

The SSC has 3 sports halls. The halls are being used for the internal competitions and practices of our student sports associations. When no activities are taking place you can reserve a sports hall via our website.

Squash Courts

With five squash courts we give you the chance to shine as a squash star. Student Squash Association Quatsh also plays at our courts. Reserve a court via our website.

Gym

The SSC has a brand new Gym that you can use with a SSC membership.

Studio 1 (Group lesson Studio)

The new Studio 1 hosts a wide range of group classes such as BBB, Body Pump, Total Body, Cardio Core, HIIT Grit Cardio & HIIT Grit Strength.

Studio 2 (Body & Mind Studio)

Studio 2 is our new Body & Mind Studio. Many low-impact classes such as Pilates, Stretch, Yoga & Mind & Body take place here.

Studio 3 (Gymnasium)

Studio 3 is a gymnasium where association classes such as cheerleading, aerial hoop, aerial silk, fencing and gymnastics take place. When no classes are taking place, you can use the space yourself by reserving it through the website.

Studio 4 (Pole Fitness Studio)

You can join student sport association SPV Blue to take Pole Fitness classes. You can also reserve the Pole Fitness studio for yourself if there are no classes taking place. Reservations are only possible for sports card holders with a 'Pole Fitness sticker' from SPV Blue on their sports card!

Cycling Studio

Increase your stamina and visit our spinning lessons in our brand new Cycling Studio. We have four different Spinning classes and on the new spinning bikes you can set your own resistance, level and pace.

Swimming Pool

In the Van Lint pool you can follow swimming lessons, swim during free hours or become a member of a water sport association.

Indoor climbing wall

Climb to the highest point together with our student sport association ESAC or challenge yourself!

Dojo

The Dojo is the place for martial arts.

Outdoor Facilities

Tennis Courts

The SSC has 11 all-weather tennis courts, so you can always play tennis. Become a member of E.S.T. Fellenoord or reserve a tennis court.

Hockey Fields

The SSC has two hockey fields. Practice at your own level at E.S.H.V. Don Quishoot.

Golf Driving Range

Nearby the SSC you find sportpark 'De Hondsheuvels'. Here you can find our Golf Driving Range. Practice during free hours or become a member of ESGV De Club.

Athletics Track

Nearby the SSC you find sportpark 'De Hondsheuvels'. Here you can find an athletics track. As a student you can join E.S.A.V. Asterix.

Beach Fields

Close to the SSC tennis courts you can find our Beach Fields. Practice with your association or reserve a Beach Field for yourself and other sports card holders.

All Terrain Construction

Dare yourself at the All Terrain Construction. As student you can join All Terrain during training hours.

Climbing Wall

Climb to the highest point, outside, together with Student Sport Association ESAC.

Playground

Exercise in the open air with your own bodyweight or follow the FUSE course.

Rowing Facilities

The boathouse of E.S.R. Thêta is at the Kanaaldijk Zuid and is part of the SSC facilities.

Soccer Fields

Nearby the SSC you find sportpark 'De Hondsheuvels'. Here you can find 4 soccer fields that belong to E.S.V.V. Pusphaira.

Mini Ramp

Knock yourself out on our Mini Ramp!

Peakz Padel

SSC sports card holders can play padel at a discount during off-peak hours at Peakz at the Beursgebouw in Eindhoven. From Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 16:00 and on Saturday and Sunday between 19:00 - 22:00 you can play Padel with 25% discount.
