Get your swimming certificate at the SSC!

The Student Sport Centre has a 25-meter swimming pool with an adjustable floor. Besides the lessons for our sports card holders, the SSC swimming school also provides lessons aimed at children and women.

Swimming for kids

In recent years, more than 12,000 children have graduated from the SSC swimming school. In the 'Van Lint Bad' in the Student Sports Centre (SSC) we offer swimming lessons 6 days a week for children from 4 to 12 years old. In groups of maximum 12 children we practice the different facets of swimming. As a swimming school we have the official licence of the National Swimming Safety Board and we work according to the ABC-method. Our enthusiastic and qualified swimming teachers make every swimming lesson fun for the children. We swim in blocks of 12 weeks. A swimming block costs €90,- with a one-time registration fee of €15,-. Obtaining your swimming certificate costs €15,-.

Costs 2024: €90,- per period (12 lessons) + (one-time) €15,- registration fee. Obtaining swimming certificate €15,-.

Registration

After registration you will receive a confirmation email. Within two weeks you will receive a message about the starting date.

NOTE: Due to high demand for swimming lessons, we currently have a waiting list for children's swimming on weekdays and for Saturdays until January 2026.
