Exercising after graduation

In most cases you can continue to exercise at the SSC after graduation. The first college year after graduation (bachelor, master) this is possible, for most alumni, for a student price. If you have graduated more than one college year ago, then for most alumni, purchasing an Alumni Sports Card is possible.

Note: with an Alumni sports card does you cannot join a student sports association or participate in classes/training at student sports association. You can read here what you can do with a sports card. All sports card prices can be found here.

TU/e Alumni
Who is eligible for the 1-year rule?
All TU/e alumni who graduated the previous academic year (incl PhD).

How to purchase/extend?
TU/e alumni can renew/purchase the sports card via our website. As long as your TU/e account is still active, you can continue to use it to purchase the sports card. Make sure you are registered with the TU/e Alumniportal, so your private email address will appear in our database. You can log in with the same email address and request a password via our website. Should you experience any issues, please send an email to sciinfo@remove-this.tue.nl.

Graduated more than one academic year ago?
After the '1-year rule' you can still purchase an Alumni Sports Card via our website as a TU/e alumnus. If you never had a sports card before, you have to first send a mail to sciinfo@remove-this.tue.nl with your full names, date of birth and the mail address you are registered with in the TU/e Alumni Portal.

Fontys alumni
Who are eligible for the 1-year rule?
All Fontys alumni who graduated the previous academic year.

How to purchase/renew?
Fontys alumni can purchase the sports card at the SSC info desk upon presentation of a valid ID and a (copy of the) Fontys diploma. Our staff at the info counter will adjust your mail address and give you a password to log in.

Graduated more than one academic year ago?
After the '1-year rule' Fontys alumni can still purchase an 'Alumni sports card' at the SSC info desk. If you have never had a Fontys alumni sports card before, you will have to show a valid ID and (a copy of) your Fontys diploma at the time of purchase.

Other HBO and universities
Who are eligible for the 1-year rule?
Within this group, the regulation applies to all alumni who graduated in the previous academic year and who already had a valid sports card during their graduation year. Those who did not have a sports card during the previous academic year are not eligible for the 1-year rule.

How to purchase/renew?
Non-Fontys and non-TU/e alumni can purchase the sports card at the SSC info counter upon presentation of a valid ID and a (copy of the) diploma.

Graduated more than one college year ago?
After the 1-year rule, it is no longer possible for non-Fontys- and non-TU/e alumni to purchase a sports card as an alumnus, with the exception of 4TU alumni. Alumni of 4TU can purchase the sports card at the SSC info counter showing a valid ID and a (copy of their) diploma.

Partners of Alumni
Partners of Alumni can purchase a sports card at the info counter. The terms and conditions for a partner card can be found here. Partners of Alumni of 4TU cannot purchase a sports card.
