Farewell Wim Koch
On Friday 4 October we said farewell to our director Wim Koch. After working for almost 40 years at the SSC, it is time for his well deserved retirement.
Well-deserved retirement
On Friday, October 4, we said goodbye to our Director Wim Koch. After playing an important role within SSC for almost 40 years, it is time for Wim to enjoy a well-deserved retirement. Wim was always known for his enormous dedication, expertise and his positive influence on the changes within SSC, such as the renovation that took place. He left a lasting impression with his hard work and passion for his profession.
During the farewell there were wonderful speeches from colleagues, the Executive Board and associations, sharing memories and emphasizing the value of Wim's contributions. As a tribute to his efforts, Hall 1 is from now on called the Wim Koch Sports Hall. In addition, a boat of Theta will also bear his name from now on, as a symbol of his influence and connection.
Wim, we want to thank you enormously. You will be missed, but your name and hard work will always be here. We wish you all the best for the future!
