Get connected!

The SSC is a place where you can meet new students or you can sport, follow courses or get a drink in the SSC Sports Café with your fellow students.

The SSC is a place where you can meet new students, exercise with your fellow students and have a drink in the SSC Sports Café. For new students, the SSC is the ideal place to meet and get to know fellow students. In addition, it is possible to join a Student Sports Association and be active in student life right away while practising your favourite sport. The SSC also organises various activities in which you can participate and meet (new) students. For example, we sometimes organise a Pub Quiz, Comedy Night, Table Football Tournament, Dance Evenings, Music Bingo and much more. Keep an eye on our agenda!

SSC Open Week
During the Open Week, sports card holders can bring their fellow students or employees of TU/e and Fontys to the SSC to get acquainted with the SSC. When a non-sports cardholder fills in a voucher at the info counter, they can use the facilities (squash and tennis courts excluded) and take part in classes for a day. You can choose from 70 different sports, from (indoor) football to zumba and from athletics to capoeira. During each Open Week, there is also a special programme of activities you can take part in.

The next Open Week will take place from Monday 11 till Sunday 17 September 2023.

Van Lint Sportweek
The ESSF Van Lint Student Sports Week (LSSW) is organised annually in the week before the Christmas holidays at the SSC and is named after the late Prof Dr Van Lint, former head of the Sports Section and an ardent advocate of student sports in Eindhoven. During this week, many different (indoor) sports are played, such as indoor football and volleyball, but also exotic sports, such as knotsball, tchouckball and uni-hockey. All this combined with an enjoyable party in the SSC Sport Café every evening.
